Anywhere, and for good. Any platform, any country, no expiry. Permission for anything you've already published can't be withdrawn.

What you can't

Don't register it anywhere. Not Content ID, not a distributor, not a rights service or a PRO. It isn't yours to register, and doing it blocks or monetises every other creator using it in good faith.
Don't release it as music. Use it in your work — don't re-upload the tracks on their own, as a compilation, or as a music library.
Don't sell it on as stock music, sample packs, or AI training data.
Don't imply we're involved. Using the music doesn't make Silent Circuit a partner, sponsor or endorser of your project.

Why a licence and not "copyright free"

Music released into the public domain carries no obligation to credit anyone — so it gets used, and the person who made it never hears about it again.

Keeping the copyright and giving the permission away is what makes the credit line hold. You get music that costs nothing and can't be claimed against you; we get to be findable. That trade only works in both directions if the copyright stays put.
